Obituary of Dorathea Hunsinger

Dorathea A. (Kuhlman) Hunsinger, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. David (Becca) Hunsinger, and Brian (Laura) Hunsinger; her sister, Ruth VanWinkle; grandchildren, PJ Morelli, Devin (Chantel) Morelli, Allison (Caleb) Kannus, Elliot Hunsinger, Rachel Hunsinger, Janessa Morelli, Jenna Hunsinger, and Justin Hunsinger; her great granddaughter, Ida Kannus; her sisters in law, Gladys and Lottie Kuhlman; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Earl Hunsinger; parents, Karl and Dorothea (Timm) Kuhlman; sister, Esther Krause; brothers, Walter, Otto, Ernest, Karl, and Martin Kuhlman. Mom was a lifelong active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Owego, and loved her Church family very much. She loved gardening, bird watching and random road trips with her family. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 12 noon from the Zion Lutheran Church, 3917 Waverly Rd., Owego. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday morning from 10am until service time at noon.
