Obituary of Madelynn Hall

Madelynn M Hall, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Fleming Island, Florida. She was born in Endicott, New York on July 4, 1926. She was the daughter of George Frederick and Althea Kane Moore. She attended school in Endicott, NY and graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1944. Madelynn married Robert Nathan Hall, in Syracuse, NY on May 27, 1947. They became the parents of three daughters and life was wonderful. Robert died suddenly in 1965 at age 40, and life as she knew it ended. She raised her children on her own and earned her RN degree. She worked in hospitals in Florida, Oregon, Colorado, West Germany, and retired from Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Madelynn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Nathan Hall; daughter, Nicolette Hall Davis; granddaughter, Kellie Greene Lee and her only sibling George F Moore, Jr. Madelynn is survived by her daughters, Michelle Lee and Madelynn Morris; grandchildren, Chandra Hoffman, Kenneth and Thomas Morris; four great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion, Joey. Madelynn was devoted to her family and will forever be loved and never forgotten. The family would like to thank her home care team from Haven Hospice for their friendship and loving care that they provided for Madelynn. Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Endicott, NY, at a later date.
