Obituary of Peter Olin Ten Eyck

Peter Olin Ten Eyck, 32, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 6, 2016 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina due to complications from his lung transplant. He is survived by his grandmother, Immaculata DiFilippo, his parents Philomena "Mina" and Eric Ten Eyck, sisters Elizabeth Bushnell and Erica Ten Eyck, brother in law Matthew Bushnell, soon to be brother in law Cody Little, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and numerous friends. His Uncle Phil DePalma and Aunt Sandy DePalma in Rocky Mount, North Carolina were very kind and generous to Peter during his many visits to nearby Durham, North Carolina for surgeries and treatment over the last 3 years. Peter graduated from Vestal High School in 2003, where he played football and lacrosse. He graduated from West Virginia University in 2008. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal's baseball fan and Buffalo Bill's football fan. He was also a fan of the WVU Mountaineers. He loved and defended the United States of America.
