Obituary of Richard Harold Card

Richard H. "Butch" Card, followed the call of his Lord, Jesus Christ, early Wednesday morning, October 26, 2016, after a long and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He is predeceased by his parents, Richard H. Card, Sr. and his loving mom, Margit (Schultz) Card; and younger brother, Robert Z. Card. Butch is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie (Crance) Card and their poodle, Maggie Mae Card, who comforted him to the very end. Son, John Patrick Worman of Crystal Lake, IL., his sister, Katalin and brother-in-law and "Loyal Friend", Jeffrey Brown, brother, Roland Card and his wife, Deborah Card, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William D. and Carol Crance, Washington Island, WI., and several loving nieces and nephews. Butch was a devoted husband and friend, and worked as a Heavy Equipment Salesman at S. C. Hansen and Monroe Tractor for 30 years. At the age of 20 years, Butch made the grade of Sergeant-E5 in the U. S. Army, stationed in Frankfort, Germany. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Apalachin Baptist Church, 4116 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, NY 13732.
