Obituary of Glenda Short

Glenda M. Short of Apalachin Glenda M. Short, 72, of Apalachin, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Short; her parents, Percy and Lucille Farnsworth. She is survived by seven children, Sue Ann McHenry, Apalachin, Michael McHenry, Vestal, Kim McHenry, Binghamton, Amy McHenry, Arizona, Patrick McHenry (Pam), Connecticut, Kaycee McHenry, Johnson City, Delbert Short, Apalachin; grandsons, Jason Deskin, Binghamton, Robbie Morrison, Massachusetts, Cody Morrison, Owego; great-grandson, Jalon Bogart, Owego; a sister, Betty McHugh, and her immediate family of Sanford, Maine; also her faithful dog, Buddy. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, crafts, her gnome garden, and playing the piano. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin. The Rev. John Martinichio, Pastor of Christ Church, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
