Obituary of Virginia M Wray

Virginia M. Wray, 92, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Wray, Sr. in 2002, five brothers and her sister, Charlotte Kyea. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Ingraham, Endicott, 3 sons; Thomas Jr. and Mary Jane Slusser, Vestal, Jerry and Christine Wray, Massachusetts, Richard Wray, Rochester, 3 grandchildren; Paul Ingraham, Jessica Wray and Lisa Zeitouni, 2 great grandchildren; Mandalyn and Hope Ingraham, two sisters; Marlene Kyea and Gertrude Klubertanz, two brothers; Floyd Kyea and Marvin Kyea, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia worked as a cook at Ross Corners Elementary School in Vestal. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal where she donated her time to special events. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, watching her grandchildren and cooking. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Church, AuSable Forks, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College St. AuSable Forks, NY on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 441 W.
