Obituary of Robert G. Hinman

Robert G. Hinman, 90, of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 15, 2017 at Willow Point Nursing Home, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Ross and Marjorie Hinman, and his sister, Ella Mae Nutley. He is survived by his wife, Adeline Hinman, children; Cheryl (Howard) Champlain, Endwell, and Roger Hinman, Wisconsin, grandchildren; Melinda Ferber, Pamela Champlain, Elizabeth Hinman, Richard Hinman, great grandson, Ryan Ferber, two nieces; Gail Nutley and Patricia Pett, and one nephew, Tim Nutley. Robert was a member of Endwell United Methodist Church. He retired after many years of service from Carborundum Corp., Niagara Falls, NY. Robert was a WW 2 veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He loved gardening and paint by number pictures. Robert's wish was to be donated to science at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. The family will receive friends at the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Blvd. Endwell, NY on Saturday January 28, from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Mark D. Kimpland officiating. The family would like to express our thanks to the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home South 3B, for their compassionate care throughout his stay.
