Obituary of Muriel L. Carmon

Muriel L. Carmon, 93 formerly from Vestal passed away Saturday February 4th at the Five Oaks Nursing home in Concord NC. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Carmon, her son Richard Carmon, her daughter Patricia Richter and her brother David Clark. She is survived by her 2 daughters Sandra Thomas of NC, and Louise Dobozin of CA; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother Harold Clark of AZ. Muriel was a devoted homemaker who loved and cherished her family above all else. Prior to moving to NC she enjoyed attending the Vestal Senior Center where she honed her skills at WII bowling. She used those skills to dominate the family WII bowling league. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 10th at 10:00 AM at the Chapel in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The Rev. Ronald Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will be there at 9:30 for anyone wishing to visit. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad 324 Myrtle St. Vestal, NY 13850 or to Lourdes Hospice 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
