Obituary of Marion R. Boyles

Marion Boyles of Endicott Marion Boyles, 83, of Endicott, passed away peacefully, after a short illness on Friday evening, May 29, 2009, at the Good Shepherd Fairview Home. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is now reunited with her son, Richard Boyles, who predeceased her as well as all of her many siblings. Marion is survived by her most loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Fay L. Boyles; as well as her son, Kenneth Boyles of Tampa, FL; her daughters, Debra Boyles Cryder of Vestal and Lori Boyles (Mark) Burdick of Apalachin. Marion is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a teller at Marine Midland Bank on Court St. in Binghamton for several years and was a proud winner of a trip to Puerto Rico while working for the bank. She was an officer of the Christian Business Women's Association. Marion loved meeting new people and was someone you didn't forget. She always had a sparkle in her eyes. Memorial Services for Marion will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. from the Twin Orchards Baptist Church, 3701 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, with the Rev. Timothy Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, www.diabetes.org. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
