Obituary of Marguerite Fowler Smith

Marguerite Fowler Smith (Marge), 90, of Endicott, born on July 17, 1926 passed away July 2, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Prudence and William Fowler, two brothers, Burton and Clarence Fowler and a granddaughter, Mercedes Woloszyn. She is survived by her loving husband, of 48 years, Howard G. Smith, and her children; Randy (Tammy) Smith, Linda (Thomas) DeSantis, Diane Smith and Gerry Willis and Michelle (Bill) Hawley, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marge was a 30 year employee of IBM Owego as an Account Analyst. She spent many joyfull years with Howard at their cottage on the St. Lawrence River, Alex Bay, Thousand Islands. Marge grew up attending the West Endicott Baptist Church. Thanks to the staff of the Cardiac Unit of Wilson Hospital North Tower 3. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC. 300 E. Main St. Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
