Obituary of Barbara MacLeod

Barbara J. (Dilmore) MacLeod of Vestal left this life on June 27th 2017 to be reunited with her beloved husband Lincoln, who preceded her on October 22, 1999. Born in Sayre, Pa, November 2, 1928, the only daughter of Robert C. and Vera White Dilmore, who preceded her. She was also preceded by her brothers Roy and Donald Dilmore and Paul and Robert Kennedy. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and many good friends. Barbara attended school in Sayre and Tunkhannock and completed her last two years of high school in Compton Pa. Soon after graduation she moved to Endicott and was employed by Endicott Johnson for eighteen years. She went to work at IBM in 1966 where she worked until her retirement with her husband March 1st, 1984. After retirement Barbara and Lincoln enjoyed Travel, especially winter months spent in Myrtle Beach. Some of her interests included a lifelong love of animals, music, crafts and flower gardening, reading and the company of her husband and good friends. At Barbara's request there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club or the Animal Case Council at 131 Washington Ave.,
