Obituary of Richard A Mancuso

Richard A. Mancuso, 70 of Vestal passed away on 8/13 at Wilson Hospital with friends and family around him. He is survived by his wife, Melody (LaClair) and daughters Roxanna and Josette, and his sister Celeste and other relatives. He was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Brentwood, Long Island. After college, he taught English and Latin, and he liked to discuss theology. He acted in various local theatre groups and had professional work with the Cider Mill Playhouse locally and with the Arena Players downstate. He cherished his many friends and relatives and will be missed for his sense of humor, intellect, many talents and his kindness. Calling hours will be at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC 765 Main St Vestal Wednesday from 5 to 7PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. Donald Bourgeois at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street in Vestal on Thursday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Missionaries of the Heart of Jesus (MHJ) in his memory.
