Obituary of Mildred Sullivan

Mildred "Tommy" Lawlor Sullivan "Tommy" Sullivan of Vestal passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, best friend, and partner in crime, John N. Sullivan, and her loving and devoted daughter Kathy Ames. "Tommy" is survived and will be missed by her daughters Pat Sullivan (Howard Heilpern), Loretta Sullivan (Kevin Lewis), Mary Jane Currid, her sons John N. Sullivan, Jr. (Joanne), Michael Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan (Cara), her son-in-law David Ames, her ten grandchildren, and her great-granddaughter. She also leaves behind four nieces and a nephew. "Tommy" was predeceased by her sister, Sr. Patricia Lawlor, S.C., her brother Richard Lawlor, and her sisters-in-law Dolores and Carletta. For more than fifty years, "Tommy" gave tirelessly of her time and talents to Our Lady of Sorrows Church and School. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, Sept. 28th, at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, Sept. 29th, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 801 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Sorrows Food Pantry, 801 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850
