Obituary of Walter Paul Buehring

Walter P. Buehring, 86, of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. Walter is reunited with his loving wife of 62 years, Natalie. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Grace Buehring; and grandson, Brian Buehring. Walter is survived by his son, David Buehring (Debbie); daughters, Luanne Buehring, Dianne (Kevin) Paige, and Johnna (David) Wright. Also surviving are his grandchilddren, Michael Buehring (Brooke), Nicholas Buehring, Brittany White and Cam Wright; great grand children, Jessica Buehring, Emily Buehring, Natalie Buehring, and Alex Layman; and two great-great grandchildren, Isabelle and Aurora Handley. Walter enjoyed boating, camping and family vacations in the Adirondack Mountains. He was a devoted husband and father. Walter was employed by Cook Brothers for 30 years. The family would like to thank the CCU, ICU and SouthTower 5 units at UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care they have given to our father. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 12 Noon at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Janet Abel from the United Methodist Homes will officiate. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
