Obituary of Helen Ferrese
Helen E. Ferrese, 80, of Endicott, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph Ferrese; a sister, Ann Zaborowski of Mt. Pocono, PA; her two daughters, Carol Ferrese of Endicott; Ellen Ferrese Polmateer and husband Dave Polmateer of Endicott; three grandchildren, Kymberly Miller and partner Ian James of Binghamton; Amanda Polmateer and partner Ryan Avery of Endicott; Joey Polmateer and partner Melanie Jones of Endicott; and two great grandchildren Carter Polmateer and Ellie James. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie Andrzejewski, and a sister, Mary Beseda. Those who knew her will greatly miss her. Helen loved to travel with her husband all over the country. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, watching her soaps, cooking shows, the Golden Girls, and the Olympics. Helen was a fantastic cook and could be found in the kitchen making Sunday dinner every weekend for her family. She is now reunited with all of her dogs, Angie, Zoe, Chelsea, Duncan and Daisy. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC,300 East Main St, Endicott from 10AM until 12PM, followed by a brief Service at Noon, with Deacon Tom Harley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Broome County Humane Society.
