Maria was a very dear friend in junior high and high school . The world did not know a sweeter, more talented, more intelligent woman. I so wish we had been able to stay in touch. She was loved.

I had the pleasure of working with Maria during her years at Binghamton University. She was one of the first people I met when I started there and she remained a wonderful colleague over the years. I enjoyed our periodic interactions and was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts go out to Mike and family at this sad and stressful time.

I am so saddened to learn of Maria's passing, and the sorrow that her family is having to endure. I remember Maria as a kind, funny, smart, and thoroughly lovely person, and I am fortunate to have worked, many years ago, under her leadership at Binghamton. I hope that Regina and the rest of her family find all the strength and comfort they need, through family, friends and faith, during this difficult time.

Maria will be missed, we have known her for many years and circumstances., starting in the 1980's where she taught an exercise class at a local school. Later Maria was Marilyn's "boss" at Binghamton University's Residential Life. She was always a person of high energy, quick to smile, and showed love and compassion in all of her interactions with others. Our prayers and condolences are with her, Mike and family.

Michael and family - My heart is breaking for you in your loss. You have served Maria so well and I'm sure there is such an emptiness without her, but a comfort knowing she is at peace at last. Blessings to you and your family.

I knew Maria as a friend back in RFA. She was a bright star of humor, laughter, intelligence, and so much positive energy. She had that smile that would only force you to grin no matter what mood you were in. It was a gift.
I regret that our life stories caused us to lose track of each other. From what I heard and read she did not diminish over the years. I am happy to hear she was married with children and had what looked to be a full life.
My sincerest condolences to the family of Maria. I can hope that the years will diminish the pain of your loss but never, never, the memories of her life.
Take care my old friend. I am so glad to have known you.
