Obituary of Vivian S. Ehrhardt

Vestal - Vivian S. Ehrhardt, 91, of Vestal, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Sidney Steele, and her husband of 64 years, Hank Ehrhardt. She is survived by her children; Karen (Rick) Lloyd, Hal (Betsy) Ehrhardt, grandchildren, Chris, Abbey, Brian (Mary) and Jenny, great grandsons; Trevor, Toby and Tyler, her brother, Roger (Lucy) Steele, along with nieces and nephews. Vivian was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church and an active member of the Wednesday Morning Interest Group. She graduated from New York State College for Teachers at Albany in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science. Vivian taught at Union Endicott High School and later in the Vestal Central School District after raising her children. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, reading, playing cards and baking cookies. Special thank you to the staff of Lourdes Hospital for the care given to Vivian over the past month. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St. Vestal, NY. Burial will follow in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
