Obituary of Phillip J Fitch

Philip Fitch Apalachin - Philip J. (PJ) Fitch of Johnson City,NY Phil died at Lourdes Hospital on May 27, 2018. He is predeceased by parents Walter and Irene Fitch, sister Betty Edwards, and his beloved wife Johanna Isabelle Pahl Fitch. Phil is survived by two sons: Craig Fitch and Mark Fitch; two daughters and sons-in-law: Carol & Ronald Petsch and Catherine & Carlos Butts; grandchildren (6): Kristen Peterson, Tiffany Rivera, Mark P. Fitch, Samantha Fitch, Tyler Petsch, and Kyle Petsch; great-grandchildren (7): Corey Peterson, Ethan Peterson, Scarlett Fitch, Vivien Fitch, Wyatt Petsch, Westyn Petsch, and Rayland Petsch; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Judie & Robert Fontana and Mary & James Simpson; and many nieces and nephews of the Edwards, Fabrizio, Simpson, Pahl, and Beitia families. Phil was a member of Sigma Phi Upsilon and the Freemasons. He was especially proud to be a member of the Distinguished Shooters Association and a lifetime NRA member. Phil retired from both the United States Marine Corps and IBM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2 at 12:00 PM at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 6519 State Rt 434, Apalachin, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 2, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park with full military honors.
