Obituary of Harold E Gates

Vestal - Harold E. Gates, 76, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday August 5, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane Gates, his brother, Robert Gates, Apalachin, NY, 4 children; Laurie Perry, Wayne Roberts, Jr. (Carol), Rob Roberts, Amos (Angel) Gates, several grandchildren including Amber Bradbury and great grandchildren, his niece, Jennifer Gates and Marc Brainard and their son Kingston, sister-in-law, Linda Beiderbeck, Vermont, and several nieces and nephews. Harold worked for the Town of Vestal for 36 years and was in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, billiards, archery, hunting and loved spending time with his family. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott.
