Obituary of Patricia A. Roberts

Patricia A. Roberts, 93, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2018. Pat is survived by her son, Stephen Roberts and daughter-in-law, Lisa Polisar of Washington, DC. Pat's husband, Stark, passed away in 2012, but she always cherished their marriage of 64 years. She married that fly boy after WWII and enjoyed many good times with life long friends that meant so much to her. Pat was her own strong person often remembered as a fun lovely "real pistol". She came from simple roots on Washington Avenue, graduated from U.E. High School, played the drums, and was a majorette marching down Washington Avenue in it's glory days. Pat believed in life with the glass always half full as a way of life. She would say, "people have worse problems than I". She never complained about the struggle with constant overwhelming pain or diminishing health over the last 6 years. Please remember Pat in your thought and prayers, she had a full life. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's memory to St. Paul Episcopal Church Chow Pantry, 200 Jefferson Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
