Obituary of Barbara I Schneider

Barbara I. Schneider of Owego Barbara I. Schneider, 76, of Endicott, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Schneider, in May 2008; a daughter, Lisa Schneider; grandaughter, Jessica D'Agati; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Jim Atkinson. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul and Kathy Schneider, and Steven Schneider, all of Owego; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Patrick D'Agati of Lillian, Alabama; eight grandchildren, David and fiancee Celia, Joseph and fiancee Amie, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua, Elizabeth and Thomas; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Sally Schneider, Vestal, Adolph and Grace Schneider, Owego; niece, Lynn Atkinson; and nephew, Jim Atkinson. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Endicott and a former employee of the Union-Endicott School District serving as a bus aide. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Douglas Clark, pastor of her Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Foundation, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
