Obituary of Doris Ethel Davis

Doris Ethel Davis Endwell - Doris E Davis (Miner) 86 of Endwell NY danced into the arms of her honey (Edward Paul Davis) On Oct. 15,2018 Doris was always surrounded by family. She is survived by Ricky Sr. & Brenda Davis, Mark and Beth Davis, Grandchildren Ricky Jr & Lisa Davis, Heather & Evan Schultz, Sarah Davis & Martin Truesdail, Liza Ramey, Clint & Becky Davis, Mindy & Bobby Barnes and not to forget her 20 great grand children and her 3 great great grandchildren. The one thing everyone loved about Doris was that she put everyone else before herself. She volunteered at the Endicott Bowling Alley and lived up to the name "Alley Grandma D". She also spent a lot of time at the American Legion Post 89 in Vestal as a member of the Auxiliary. Doris loved shopping, playing cards and crafting in which she has taught her grandchildren to do to the fullest. Doris loved her flowers which she accepted each Mothers Day and ever other holiday people always sent her. She loved owls, butterflies and flamingos. Doris also loved the casino and trips to Florida to see her big sister Betty. Although we will miss Doris, she has spent 7 years w/o her honey and we are glad to reunite them once again. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with Rev. Horace King officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers we are asking for you to donate to Doris and Ed's favorite charity, St. Judes.
