Obituary of James A. Winterstein

Apalachin - James A. Winterstein, 63, of Apalachin, went to be with his Lord on Friday November 2, 2018 at his home. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Winterstein, and two children, Andrew and Jessica. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy Winterstein, his children; Christopher Winterstein, Douglas Winterstein and Samantha King, Christina and Sarah Winterstein, two grandchildren, Tyler and Damon James, his mother, Beverly Winterstein, sisters, Leslee and Susan Winterstein, and his brother, Jeff Winterstein. Jim was a fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants, Syracuse Basketball and was a member of New Life Church. He loved being a father and grandfather. Jim was very kind and opened his heart and home to anyone and everyone. He will be deeply missed forever. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday until the time of the service. Romans 8:28 All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
