Obituary of Joyce Elaine Stephenson

Vestal - Joyce E. Stephenson, 90, of Vestal, passed away peacefully at the Vestal Park Nursing Home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas W. Stephenson; parents, Maurice and Elmina VanDeMark; two brothers, Dick, and Pete; three sisters, Emma, Lois, and Betty. Joyce is survived by her son, Tim Stephenson and his wife, Nancy, of Vestal, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce enjoyed the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Flemingville United Methodist Church. Joyce retired from the Town of Owego Assessors' Office. Her kindness, cheerfulness, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. Vestal. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
