Obituary of Mavis Hillis

Little Meadows - Mavis Hillis, of Little Meadows, PA, passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Norman "Butch" Hillis, two sisters; Joan Newberry and Barbara Newton, six kids; Kim & Theresa Nelson, Kirk & Judy Nelson, Kristi & Bucky Bailey, Kerry & Carol Nelson, Keefe & Sarah Nelson, Kahl & Eileen Nelson, four step children; Ted Hillis, Tawnya Medlar, Corey Hillis, & Carrie Andreasen, also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mavis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. Everyone loved her homemade cookies and cinnamon flops! Funeral services will be held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 765 Main St. Vestal on Saturday, November 24th at 12:00 noon. Family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. John Lucas, Pastor of Tracy Creek Memorial Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tracy Creek Memorial Church, 4 Knight Road.
