Obituary of Eleanor Leah Taylor

Johnson City - Eleanor Albro Taylor, 95, passed away November 25th at United Methodist Homes JGJ, Johnson City, NY, after an extended illness. Predeceased by: her husband William R. Taylor, also her mother Marguerite and father Myron D. Albro and brothers Clifford and M. Dale Albro. Survived by daughters: Pamela Pierson and son in law Gerald, Mullica Hill, NJ and Elyn Sulger Johnson City, NY. Grandchildren: Amy Shuler, Jason Pierson, Eryn White, Neil Cochran and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Eleanor grew up in Lounsberry, NY and graduated from OFA and attended Asbury College in KY and RBI. She worked as a secretary for Vestal Methodist Church and later Endwell Methodist Church for many years. More recently she belonged to Endicott Presbyterian Church, was an Elder and sang in the choir. Eleanor was Matron of OES at Roundhill Chapter and past Grand Matron of OES NY. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 1st at 11am at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 300 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 30th from 6-8pm.
