Obituary of John C. Miller

Maine - John "Jack" C. Miller, Sr., 79, of Maine NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 12, 2018. Jack has joined his loving wife, Marilyn, in Heaven after a 12-day separation. He is also predeceased by his parents, George & Dorothy Miller; grandson, Joshua Miller; sisters, Jean Kany, Delores Thompson, and Alice Locke; brothers, George Miller, Jr., and Voyle Miller; and son-in-law, Daniel Hartman. Jack is survived by his children, John (Bonnie) Miller, Jr., Raelene Hartman, and Daniel (Beth) Miller; grandchildren, Kevin Botsford, Kristin (Keith) Bennett, Melissa Botsford, Joseph Miller, and Justin Miller; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Daughtery, Shirley Chamberlin, Charlotte Holmes, Dorothy Carr, and Linda Miller; and brother, Robert Miller. Jack was a retired employee from the Village of Endicott after 37 years of service. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and especially Deer hunting. When it was Deer Season, he would grow his annual Deer Beard. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 12 noon at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
