Obituary of Christina Hellmann

Vestal - Christina Hellmann (Silvernail), 56, of Vestal, passed away due to a complicated health history on December 13th, 2018. She was predeceased by her brother, Alan Silvernail. She is survived by her children, Melissa Gaugler (Christopher) and Amanda Hellmann, grandson, Alexander Gaugler, mother, Gertrude Silvernail, father, Alva Silvernail (Carol), siblings; Robert Silvernail, Darlene Bucinell (Tom), Linda Igo (Joe), nephew, Joey Igo, stepson, Chad Jacobus (Rebekah), niece, Olivia Jacobus, also grieving with us is her longtime friend, Lowell Carman. Christina was a dedicated worker for IBM and Broome Developmental Center. She was a kind and compassionate person often referred to as an angel and mom to many people. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. Vestal. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Christina can be made to Toys for Tots.
