Obituary of Charles Fredrick Bartleson

Charles (Charlie) F. Bartleson, lifelong resident of West Corners, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret Bartleson; his brother James Bartleson; daughter Lori Hendrick; and wife of 49 years, Margaret (Peg) Bartleson. He is survived by many family members and friends including his son and daughter-in-law Todd and Lorraine Bartleson; three granddaughters, Morgan Hendrick- Crandell (Patrick), Amanda Bartleson-Taylor (Eric), and Carlie Bartleson; and great granddaughter Avery Crandell. Charlie dedicated 30 years of service to IBM as an auditor. In retirement, he went on to own his own business creating and selling handcrafts with his wife. He also enjoyed spending time with dear friends drinking a cold beer and admiring the views of Cayuga Lake during the summer months. The family would like to offer a special thank you to all that helped enrich Charlie's life. Family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 4 - 6 pm, with a service at 6 pm, at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E Main St Endicott, his son, Todd Bartleson will officiate. Private burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lourdes Hospice.
