Gary ( or Stosh as we called him) was a good friend of our family and loved by all. I’m sure Mondo greeted him at the gates with a warm hug , a cold beer , and a pack of smokes. Rest In Peace Stosh

Being a supplier to Butcher Boys I have been stopping in weekly at the market for 20 plus years and got to know Gary pretty well. We used to kid each other about the so called Binghamton Press newspaper and tell each other “hey I’ll save you some time, there ain’t nothing in there anyway, don’t waste your time” One thing I did not know about Gary was how tough he was, several times I sat with him at the lunch table in the market and you could tell he did not feel well after treatment day but he was there pitching in and doing his job,I never heard him complain.

Gary and I grew up together, neighbors across the street from each other. Things that happened on Wallace St. should probably stay on Wallace St. But we always had fun. In high school Gary drove him and I to Divers Ed every day - and we stopped at Elk's Bakery every day for a doughnut. As adults, we played many games of cards - we won some - we lost some…again, always having a so much fun. The last time I saw him, I hugged and told him he looked great. It is those dimples that will never be forgotten...something he gave to his son. I tell Gary III all the time how much he looks like his dad. Ahhh....how proud of you he must have been. To the entire family – I am so sorry for your loss. Too young, too soon.
