Obituary of James Y. Lee

Jimmy "Moto" Lee was born May 11, 1950. He was a resident of Endicott for nearly 40 years, suddenly passed away on December 29, 2019. He is survived by brother, Tommy Lee of VA; sisters, Lily (Michael) Jansky of NJ, and Judy Lee of NJ; neice, Andrea Jansky of NJ; nephews, Josh Jansky of MD, Darrick (Angie) Lee of VA, and Jon (Mimi) Lee of VA; and great neices, Kathryn and Tiffany of VA. He was predeceased by his brother Fon Lee of Endicott in 2010. Jimmy was born in Bridgeport, CT and raised in Metuchen, NJ where his parents, Din and Luen owned a Laundry. He moved to Waynesboro, VA in 1974 where he was employed by GE. In 1980 he relocated to Endicott where he worked as a wedding gown specialist at a dry cleaners. He retired in 2011 to spend more time gardening and fishing. He became a fixture at the Union Auto Repair Garage where he was affectionately named "Moto" by his garage buddies. His kindness and generousity were well known. He was more than willing to help anyone at anytime. He gave vegetables and fishs away and gave his time at the garage. He loved dogs and became a doting uncle to Daisy and Scout when they vacationed at his farm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
