Obituary of Robert E English

Robert E. English Share E-mail Visit Guest Book Robert E. English of Endicott Robert E. English, 87, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord and joined his wife, Helen, on Friday, September 18, 2009, at the Vestal Nursing Center. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; daughter, Linda Watson; son, Robert M. English; and grandson, Billie Billet. He is survived by six children and spouses, Doris and David Bame of Bainbridge, Barbara and Dean Perry of Endicott, Julie Billet of Endicott, Patty and Gary Woolever of Apalachin, Craig and Becky English of Endicott, Jim English of Berkshire; son-in-law, Frank Watson; daughter-in-law, Nancy English; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie and Gail; several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, a member of the Endwell Church of Christ and Christian Union, and a retired employee of the Town of Union Highway Dept. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Vestal Nursing Center for their loving care of Robert. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Arthur Penird, Pastor of his church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Vestal Nursing Center, 860 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
