Charlie and Pat spent time together with John and I in the late 1940
We played cards and enjoyed food together
1949 or 1950 Charlie and John signed up for reserves they went to Brooklyn
for physical and Charlie failed due to heart mummer, John was inducted right
away and served in Parris Island for one year. John cheerfully chided
Charlie about it. Those were the days
