Obituary of Shirley M Marsh

Shirley Marsh (Morrison) Share E-mail Visit Guest Book Shirley (Morrison) Marsh of Vestal Shirley M. Marsh, 70, of Vestal, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, September 19, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Helen Tinklepaugh. She is survived by her three children, Bruce and Donna Morrison Jr. of South Burlington, VT, Cheryl and Craig Arons of Montgomery, NY, Sharon and Barry Foster of Apex, NC; grandchildren, Mindy and Brian Clark, Marty and Molly Morrison, Autumn and Tyler Arons, Brandon, Justin and Hayden Foster; close cousin, Ruth Stephens; very good friend, Frances Foster. She was a lifelong member of the Vestal United Methodist Church, a retired employee of the Vestal Central Schools, and was very active in many activities in the Vestal community. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal. The Revs. Michael Willis and Mary Ricketts will co-officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 6 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal.
