Obituary of Ernest Justin Jarrold

Ernest "Ernie" J. Jarrold, 95, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Helen (Maguire) Jarrold; and brothers, Charles Jarrold, Jerome Jarrold and Lawrence Jarrold. Ernie is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eva (Buller) Jarrold; children, Daniel (Lorie) Jarrold, Gregory (Tracy) Jarrold, Allison (Barry) Welch, and Matthew (Cheryl) Jarrold; grandchildren, Jacob Jarrold, Thomas Jarrold, Shawn Jarrold, Dylan Jarrold, Samuel Welch, Casey Welch, Tyler Jarrold, and Owen Jarrold; and several nieces and nephews. Ernie served in the United States Navy and wore his Veteran of WWII hat with pride. He was a retired employee from General Electric-Westover Plant in Johnson City, NY. Due to the Covid-19 situation, a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church will be postponed until a later date when it will be safe for all of us to be together.
