Obituary of Margere M Lemon

Margere L. Lemon 5/24/1931-8/21/2020 The heavens gained another angel as our loving Mother, Grandmother and great Grandmother passed away peacefully August 21, 2020 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Gloria, infant grandson Justin and the love of her life, her husband Paul. They now can celebrate together their 69th wedding anniversary after so many years of being apart. She is survived by her four children, Gary (Sue), Paula (Larry), Don (Laura), and Staci (Greg), who she proudly raised alone after Paul died at the age of 39. She leaves behind 8 grandkids, Ryan, Kristin, Corey, Megan, Melissa, Jessica, Paul and Trevor, who fondly called her Gramma Marge. She was also blessed with 7 great grandchildren, Owen, Reilly, Gavigan, Jamison, Harvey, Charlotte and Jaina for which she had an endless supply of pretzels for and they all knew right where she kept them. Marge is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends. The lifelong friendships she held close from Malverne Rd. were all at the pearly gates waiting for her to arrive with open arms, so let the block party begin. Marge was an avid reader with thousands of books stored in her memory and would stay up half the night reading and still rise early with her favorite response being "I can sleep a long time when I'm dead." Sleep well Mom when you're not dancing with Dad or catching up with loved ones who went before. Until we meet again we will feel your presence always in the seasons to come, in each gentle breeze that blows or in the sun that shines warm upon our face. Our countless treasured memories of you will forever be held deep in our hearts. A private service and burial will be held because of the pandemic.
