Obituary of Josephine O'Hora

Josephine O'Hora of Apalachin Josephine O'Hora, 76, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 16, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Ruth Dellos and Betty Hazen; two brothers, Art and Charles Hazen. She is survived by her three children, Russell O'Hora, Endicott, Patrick O'Hora, Friendsville, PA, and Gloria Parkes, Vestal; two grandchildren, Cherie Zbylut and Rob Parkes; two great-grandchildren, Madison ad Vinny Zbylut; sister, Dorothy Conrow; nieces, Shirley and Midge and husband, Frank Brown. She was a member of the Vestal Senior Citizens; member of the 600 Bowling Club; life guard at the former Endicott-Johnson pool. Josephine was a retired employee of Binghamton University with 26 years of service. She was an avid hunter, loved horseback riding and dancing. She was very active in the community. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. from the Central United Methodist Church, 17 Nanticoke Ave., Endicott. The Rev. Douglas Clark will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott.
