Obituary of Jeffrey Tyreman

Jeffrey D. Tyremanof Endicott, N.Y. Jeffrey D. Tyreman, 56, of Endicott, N.Y., was suddenly taken from his family on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Jeff is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen Sebring Tyreman; his sons, Jason Tyreman, Ryan Tyreman and Kevin Tyreman, all at home. He was the only child of Willard and Virginia Tyreman, both deceased. Jeff graduated from Pocono Mountain High School, 1970, and East Stroudsburg State College, 1974. Jeff had a thirst for knowledge, especially American history and trivial facts. He always won when playing Trivial Pursuit. He had earned enough credits for his Master's Degree in History. Jeff initially worked at Pocono Metal Products in East Stroudsburg, PA. He began his career with the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, in Monmouth County, New Jersey in 1978. In 1987 Jeff continued his career at Defense Contract Management Agency, LMSI - Owego. It was there that he found joy and lifelong friends. Jeff enjoyed his family, golf, baseball cards (buying and selling), his cats, stamp and coin collecting. Jeff had a very goofy sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He would always say, "Still crazy after all these years." The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, N.Y. on Wednesday, October 8, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 11:00 a.m. at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, N.Y.
