Obituary of Linda L. Chernak

Linda L. Chernak, of Owego surrounded by her loving family went to be with the lord on 2/28/21. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Leatha Raymond and her brother Gary Raymond. She is survived by Richard, her loving husband and soulmate of 40 years, her sons John (Christine), Jeff (Tina), Jim (Marlys), and daughter Jennifer (Alen). She is also survived by brothers; Sam Raymond (Judy), Tim Raymond (Karla), sister; Billie Vaughn (Barett) and eleven grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the co-owner of Reigning Cats and Dogs in Candor, NY and loved all animals. She also was a member and Past Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. Linda's love of gardening led her to become a Master Gardener. As a Master Gardener she maintained several gardens at home and spent many hours volunteering with other Master Gardeners at the Tioga County Office Building Master Gardens. Beyond all her diverse interests, Linda's greatest joy was, by far, spending time with family. Arrangements are at the convenience of the family.
