Obituary of Adeline Hinman

Adeline D Hinman passed away at Willow Point Nursing Home May 4, 2021. Sh was born in Niagara Falls NY May 18, 1929, the youngest of six children. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Frederick and Grace (Marble) Madera, her siblings Frederick Jr, Durley Torra, John, Ruth Clemenger and Marian Dyson. She is survived by her children Cheryl (Howard) Champlain and Roger Hinman, grandchildren Melinda (Andrew) Ferber, Pamela Champlain, Elizabeth Hinman and Richard Hinman, and her great grandson Ryan Ferber. She also had many nephews and nieces but special in her heart were Gail (Allan) Nutley, Tim Nutley and Pat (Doug) Pett. Adeline attended Niagara Falls High School, graduating in 1947. She met the dashing sailor Robert and were married in 1950. They moved to Wilson NY and raised their young family there. She retired from her secretarial job with an attorney and spent many years traveling to visit their family and camping in the pop-up camper with Robert. She was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church where she made many friends and enjoyed baking pies. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff at Willow Point, especially South 3 and West Wing. Their care and kindness during her journey with them is unparalleled. A gathering of family and friends will be planned at a later date. Interment will be at Niagara Falls Memorial Park.
