Obituary of Alfred T. Warner
Apalachin - Alfred "Ted" Warner, 74, passed away on July 13, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents, Forrest and Esther (Gurney) Warner and son Nicholas Warner. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Janet (Littlejohn) and his furry family. He is survived by his 2 sons & grandchildren; Ron Dwyer (Gavyn) and Ted Warner (Autumn & Nathan). Also survived by his special daughter-in-law, Stephanie, and his sister Cindi Thomas & family.
Alfred worked as a truck driver for many years, security guard at Binghamton University, and a seasonal snowplow driver for NYS DOT in Owego, NY. He was a life member of Apalachin Fire Department where he served as assistant chief and a life member of Tioga County Search and Rescue. Alfred proudly served his country in the Army in Vietnam, where he was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star with "V".
Services will be held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC at 6519 State Route 434 Apalachin, NY. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 12:30-2:00, with funeral to follow. Burial will be at a later date with military honors in Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N.
