Obituary of Jean Mott
Jean Louise Mott of Endicott
Jean Louise Mott of Endicott has passed into Heaven on November 14, 2009 at Wilson Hospital following an undiagnosed illness which disrupted her speech and writing ability, as well as her balance and walking ability for the past several months. She is predeceased by her father, E. Floyd Greene; her mother, Hazel L. Ball; two brothers, Kenneth and his wife, Edith, and Alton. Jean has been in the teaching profession since obtaining her Master's degree in Education in 1958. She taught the little ones exemplary traits. She leaves behind Fred Mott, her husband of 53 years; and four children, Kaye, Gary, Karon and Kristen; and several grandchildren, Rachel, Jennifer, Melissa, Gideon and Moriah, all of Pottersville, NY, James of Chenango Bridge and Garrett of Austin, TX. All in her concern, even now.
Funeral services will be at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Calling hours will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon followed by a service by Pastor Robert McGehee. Immediately after the service, a light lunch will be available until 2:00 p.m. at the West Endicott Baptist Church, after which all who wish will proceed to the cemetery for the burial service at 3:00 p.m. Time is of the essence due to the long trip to the burial site (approximately 30 miles south on Route 26 to the Birchardville Cemetery on the right near church in Birchardville, PA). Jean was a faithful member of the West Endicott Baptist Church since the early 1940's. The location is at the corner of Birdsall and Mills in West Endicott. A donation may be made to this church (if you wish) in her honor.
