Obituary of Donna E Beck

Donna E. Beck, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2021. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ray A. Beck, and their children Jonathan and Dena Beck, Cameron and Doreen Beck and Stephanie Beck. She was Nonna to four grandchildren, Chad (Julia) Beck, Heather Beck, Anastasia (Oliver) Naumovski and Nathan Beck and four great granddaughters. Donna is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, niece and nephew. Donna was predeceased by her parents, a sister and a brother. Donna graduated from Dallastown High School in York County, PA and worked for Motor Freight Trucking Company until her marriage and relocation to New York State for her husband's employment with IBM. Donna was an active member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church including singing in the choir, lector and altar guild. Donna volunteered extensively throughout her lifetime including the Vestal Central School, Starry Night Puppet Theatre, Broome County Board of Realtors, BC Open and Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Women's Club of Endicott and Harmony Club. She also sang with the BC Pops and Vestal Community Choir. Donna was a talented counted cross stitcher, receiving several awards and making beautiful artwork for her family and friends. She was also an avid collector of mice (the unreal kind). She dedicated the past five years of her life to be the caretaker of her husband. She will be deeply missed. A graveside service for family will take place on September 4, 2021.
