Obituary of B. Elaine Fuller

On the morning of September 15th 2021, Elaine Fuller, 95, went home to be with the Lord at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Elaine was born in Susquehanna County, PA to the late Gertrude Lyman Crisman and Floyd Crisman. She graduated from Meshoppen High School, Wheaton College, IL and attended graduate school at Columbia University. Elaine taught music in several school districts in PA, MD, and NY. Elaine also taught piano lessons and was an active member of Vestal Center United Methodist Church where she was the organist for many years. She married her husband Bill in 1957 and resided in Vestal, NY for most of her life. After retirement they wintered in Port Charlotte, FL. She then moved to Guilderland, NY where she was a resident of Atria and Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Elaine is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Bill Fuller, and her brothers, Paul (Nancy), David and Mark. Elaine is survived by her children; Stephen Fuller, Susan (Bill) Burns, and Sarah Fuller and her two grandchildren, Alex and Emily Burns, and her sisters, Maryjane Crisman and Kathleen (Ray) Shepard. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Atria Guilderland, OLM, and Hospice who provided Elaine with loving care over the past several years. A Funeral Service will be held at the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd., Vestal, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Jersey Hill Cemetery, Auburn Township, PA. The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, Hospice, or The Vestal Center United Methodist Church.
