Obituary of Marion LeDrew

Marion LeDrew passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021. She was born on July 25th, 1931 in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. Marion is predeceased by her husband, Wilson LeDrew, and her daughter, Susan Johnson. She is survived by her son Bill (Marlyn) LeDrew of Palm Coast, Florida, her daughter Lorie (Vince) Spellane of Vestal, NY, her son-in-law Tom Johnson of Northglen, Colorado, and her sister Bernice Stuart of Ontario, Canada. Marion has nine grandchildren, Joshua (Susan), Julie (Jeremy), Jon, Mandy (Cody), Jessica, Sarah (Chris), Emily (Chris), Michael and Jacob, as well as nine great-grandchildren. Marion and Wilson married in 1951, and moved to Chicago, IL. They later settled in Endicott, NY in 1962. Throughout her life, Marion enjoyed spending time with her family, working on puzzles, gardening, and baking cookies and pies, especially around the holidays. She also spent her time volunteering with the American Cancer Society, Lourdes Hospital and Ideal Senior Living Center. Rice pudding and a hot cup of tea were some of her favorite things. Marion spent the last few years of her life at United Methodist Homes - Hilltop Campus. Her family is thankful for the compassionate care she received there. Marion will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
