Obituary of Samantha Lynn Schultz

1988 – 2021 Samantha L. Schultz left us to go stay with her brother on November 3, 2021. She was born in Johnson City, NY on January 19, 1988. She was a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and Onondaga Community College. Samantha loved to take charge of an office and get it running smoothly; most recently as the Office Manager at CNY Roof Cleaning. Samantha was the beloved daughter of Tracy & James Dunnier and Jeffrey Schultz. She is survived by her son Qwintin Kelley, niece Kiara Barr, her sister Krystle Schultz (Daniel Barrett), her maternal grandparents Mary & Merwyn Jones, her paternal grandparents Ronald & Connie Schultz and Jeanette Schultz, step-grandparents Arthur & Barbara Dunnier, her "brother from another mother" Jesse Riding, and her special friend Vincent Hall. She is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Samantha is predeceased by her great grandmother Jennie Hodel, maternal grandfather William G. Bednar, Uncle William R. Bednar and most importantly her loving brother and protector Colin M. Barr. Though our hearts are shattered and we all will miss Samantha drastically she is at peace. She missed her brother and dreamed of the day she was going to see him again. We know that Colin was there to welcome her and hold her until we see them both again. The family will receive loving condolences on Saturday, November 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home at 765 Main St., Vestal, NY 13850 with prayers following. We will lead Samantha to her final resting place at Vestal Hills Cemetery at 3997 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850. A luncheon will immediately follow at My Uncle's Place, 120 East Service Road, Binghamton, NY 13901. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a fund for her son.
