Obituary of Gregory R Bumbalough

Gregory Randall Bumbalough Campville – Greg Bumbalough, 56, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 13, 2021. Greg was born in Tripoli, Libya, Africa as an Air Force military kid. He had an adventurous childhood, growing up in Crete, Florida, Turkey, and Maryland, where he met his wife of 33 years in High School. They were married after he graduated from college. Continuing his adventures while working as a Software Engineer, they lived in Maryland, Colorado and England before settling down in Upstate New York. They are blessed with eight children, five in-law children, and eleven grandchildren. Greg loved being a husband, "Daddio", Grandpa and was incredibly loved by his family! Besides his immediate family, he is also survived by his mother, two brothers, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Greg was gentle, kind, humble, caring, and had a generous servant's heart. His motto in life was, "Always give everyone the benefit of the doubt." When he wasn't walking his dogs in the woods, sitting on the front porch drinking coffee, listening and singing along with his favorite cassettes, fishing, kayaking, going to auctions, playing basketball and football, and even making up "punny" Dad jokes, he'd be telling you about his love for Jesus Christ and the ultimate hope he had in one day being resurrected when God makes all things new. His faith of nearly 27 years carried him through life's ups and downs and was his firm hope even in the end. He truly fought the good fight and finished his race, always keeping his faith. The family will be having a private burial.
