Obituary of Sarah Masters

Sally Ann (Meleski) Masters, 85, passed away peacefully at home on January 4th surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Walter Meleski, and sister, Cecelia Barnes. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Masters, and six children; Susie, Joe (Jennifer Williams), Peggy, Marie (Chris Bailey), Trish (Gary O'Neill), Rick (Daniella Tiberia) and grandchildren, Sam, Julia, Andrea, Dan, Jack, Ryan, Sarah, Grace, Sabrina, Margot, Alexa, Pete, Mac, Ellen, and Jared. She is also survived by her brothers; Stanley Meleski (Barbara), and Billy Meleski (Kyle). Sally's greatest joys in life have always been family, faith and friends. She cherished her cottage on Highland Lake where she spent every summer with her children, grandchildren and friends. Sally was a longtime member of the Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Good Council Catholic churches. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she donated countless hours to Ladies of Charity, religious education, and other church activities. She loved spending time with her many friend groups including Lions Club, Applebee's group, and classmates from St. James' and St. Pat's. She loved sewing, and it brought her great joy to create gifts for her children and grandchildren - Christmas pajamas, graduation quilts, Christmas and Easter outfits. The family will receive friends at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 300 East Main Street, Endicott, NY on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2-4 PM. A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 701 West Main Street, Endicott, NY on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10 AM.
