Our beloved Mother, Clara (Mattes) Hayes Naylor, 90, passed into the arms of the Lord January 25, 2022. Clara retired from IBM in 1990. She was predeceased by her parents Caroline & Julius Mattes, her husband Willard Hayes, her son Willard Hayes, Jr., and her husband Kenneth Naylor. Clara is survived by her beloved children son Dennis Hayes, Sr.; daughter Anita Hayes Boezi (Robert), son Allen Hayes, stepson Thomas Naylor (Brooke); stepdaughter Beth Naylor Riley (Scott); grandchildren Dennis, Jr. (Heather); Brian (Melissa); Shane (Amber); Colin (Alexandria); Ian, Aubrie, Grayson, great-grandchildren Alexander, Adelayna, Lyla, Harrison, Jack, Maxwell, Gavin and numerous relatives in Germany.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 1 - 2 pm at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott, with a Memorial Service at 2 pm led by Pastor Joseph Wickman. Burial will be at the family's convenience at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
