Obituary of John (Jack) G Fitzgerald

Jack (John) Fitzgerald was reunited with loved ones in heaven on February 15th, 2022. He is survived by his wife Ruthi, daughter Jenna, and devoted furry friend Jude. He is predeceased by his Father John, Mother Jennie and brother Dick (Richard). He is also survived by two nephews and a niece, and several cousins. Jack retired from Lockheed Martin after 35 plus years of service as a procurement manager. His community involvement kept him busy by him holding the positions of President of SCORE several times, as well as the president of the Binghamton Rotary Breakfast club. Jack also served as a Fire Chief at the Vestal Fire Station 2. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting as well as target shooting. His sense of humor and willingness to tell a story to anyone made him an unforgettable person who will stay in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 26th from 10-11 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 72 Main St., Binghamton, NY. Service to follow at 11. Family and Friends are required to wear a mask due to Covid guidelines. Jack was a man of "many hats" so please wear a hat to honor him.
